A native of Tipp City, Katie Wahl joined Dysinger & Associates, LLC in May 2011 after practicing complex business litigation in Dayton, Ohio for almost eight years. In her practice, Katie focused primarily on privacy and class action litigation and eDiscovery, but also advised clients on a variety of other matters, including contract interpretation and warranty disputes. Katie is licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Ohio and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and is a member of the Ohio State, Ohio Women’s and Dayton Bar Associations, where she participates in various committees.
A 2003 honors graduate of the Notre Dame Law School, Katie also earned a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and was the first in the school’s history to combine the two curricula into one program. While at Notre Dame, Katie also served as the Executive Articles Editor for the Journal of College and University Law and participated in various organizations in both the law school and economics department. During the summer of 2001, Katie completed an externship with the Honorable Walter H. Rice, United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Katie received her Bachelor of Arts degree from DePauw University in 1998. As a member of the Management Fellows Honors Program, she completed a semester-long internship with BAA plc in London, England. Katie was active in Alpha Omicron Pi Theta Chapter and served as the Financial Advisor upon graduation.
In 2007, Katie was selected by the Dayton Business Journal as a Forty Under Forty honoree, an award that recognizes rising leaders in Dayton and their chosen fields. Katie currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Tipp City Public Library and the Dayton Ballet Association, and is a member of the Tippecanoe Alumni Association, Tipp-Monroe Optimist Club, Tippecanoe Historical Society, Notre Dame Club of Dayton and Tipp City Rotary Club.
